JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Someone who can do it all and thrive in an environment where deadlines are every half hour. Must be an aggressive self starter who can stack newscasts, write great, conversational headlines, teases and stories…all while updating the web and Facebook. Must be able to write short tight copy, must write like people speak, adlib well, anchor short form newscasts or long form event coverage, interact with talk show hosts live, and understand news coverage in the digital/social media age.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: You live, breath, eat, sleep news. Must be a fast learner and self starter capable of doing more than one thing at a time. Must be experienced at enterprising stories. Computer skills and experience with digital editing and social media an absolute must. Bilingual a plus. Adobe Audition and RCS News experience a plus. Multi-tasking and good news judgment absolutely essential.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Medium or large market radio news experience. This is not a position for beginners.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Typing, computer literate, able to post audio and video, web links and Faceook links. Excellent grammar and broadcast news writing; organized; excellent on-air delivery; self-starter; able to work different shifts if necessary. If we have an emergency or hurricane, you will be expected to work. Multi-task should be your middle name.
We need someone who can do it all with very little direction.

You will be responsible for assisting in the upkeep of multiple facilities. Radio experience is required. Ability to engineer remote broadcasts is required. Duties will also include maintenance and repair of building operations. The successful candidate will align actions with company and departmental goals and foster an environment that supports teamwork and a positive work environment. Candidate must have flexibility to work days, nights, overnights and weekends as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as well as climb ladders. Background check will be required. \
EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent required
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Familiarity with general electrical, plumbing, construction, and HVAC systems, painting.
• Ability to use broadcast remote equipment including setup up and breakdown of events. ISDN Zephyr and Tieline equipment knowledge is needed. Sound engineering events is also desirable.

TITLE: Part-time Promotions Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Marketing/Promotions Department
BASIC JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Promotion Department with all on-air, on-line and on-site promotions. This is an entry-level position that involves assisting with all administrative functions of radio promotions, overseeing staging and performing at on-site station appearances.
Other responsibilities include managing and distributing station prizes and premiums; driving promotional vehicles; setting up and running audio and other types of audio equipment, hanging banners and other staging elements; performing basic office administrative functions; updating station web site, conducting on-site promotions, and handling clients and listeners.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Valid Florida Driver’s License and clean driving record a must. Able to work a variety of shifts and days, including weekends and evenings. Must be outgoing, comfortable in being on stage and performing in front of people. If you are shy, this is not the job for you! Exceptional organizational skills are a big plus.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous experience in promotions or office organization is a plus.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Basic Computer skills enabling you to readily produce documents; use scheduling calendars, e-mail and update web sites; able to learn how to operate audio and technical equipment; comfortable working and talking in front of the public. Essential functions of the job include driving large vehicles, being able to lift, carry and push heavy equipment and climb ladders and working long hours.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute scheduled On-Air shows primarily weekends. Maintain remote or syndicated programming on Y100, as well as fill in for full and part time air talent at any given time on short notice.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Physical skills require the ability to work with Adobe Audition, Vox Pro and NexGen Operate audio control board. Mental skills require the ability to respond to demands and pressures of live improvised radio show programming with astute customer service. Most importantly, creative skills require being able to compel the Miami 18-34 radio audience to use our on-air and digital platforms and content as often as possible in their daily lives.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2 years of On-Air Experience. Knowledge of Windows, Facebook, Hootwuite, Twitter, Nex Gen Audio Systems, Vox Pro, Cool Edit/Adobe and similar systems are a MAJOR plus.
